Obituary

Michael Printzel was born July 19, 1872, in Austria, where he lived until 20 
years ago when he came to the United States, and settled in Wisconsin.  Twelve 
years ago he moved from Wisconsin to Fruitland, where he has lived since.  He 
was the father of 12 children, 2 sons preceeding him in death in the past two 
years.  Six sons and four daughters with his widow survive him on their ranch 
south of Fruitland.  He also leaves his mother and 7 sisters in Austria.  He 
passed away Monday morning at 2:25, after a week’s illness of flue and 
pneumonia.  He has been in poor health for the past year, so was in no 
condition to throw off the disease.  Funeral services were held from the 
Catholic church in Ontario, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock, and interment was 
made in the Catholic cemetery.
