Charles Prior Passes
 
The funeral service of Chas. Prior, brother of Mrs. D. G. Gardner, and H. C. 
Prior, was held at the Baptist church on Sunday afternoon.  The Rev. Clayton 
Judy and Rev. Henry Jacobs officiating.  A quartette choir rendered two old 
hymns beautifully, "Nearer My God to Thee," and "Abide With Me."  A large 
number of people were present at the service and a number of beautiful floral 
pieces told of the esteem in which he was held in the community.
 
Note:  Charles Prior was born 1-21-1855 and died 2-6-1930.  Burial at Parkview 
Cemetery, New Plymouth. ch
