A. E. Rainwater. Interment will be at Margaret Cemetery at Cascade at 2:30 p.m. Mr. Probst was born July 12, 1894 at Lajara, Colo. He married Rose Longstreet on June 6, 1918, in Azatic, N. M. He was a Veteran of World War l, and served in the U. S. Army. He moved to Cascade in 1940 from New Mexico, and to Payette 13 years later. Survivors include his wife, Rose of Payette; a son, George Probst of Payette; five daughters Mrs. Bill (Florence) Creason of Cascade, Mrs. Curt (Betty) Potts of Boise; Mrs. Ed (Glenna) Stanley of Wasco, Ore., Mrs. George (Winnie) Rose of Yuba City, Calif., and Mrs. Dennis (Peggy) Hovind of Clark AFB, Philippine Islands; a brother, Emil Probst of Fairfield, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Lawson, of Azatic, N. M., Mrs. Mary Giacomelli and Mrs. Francis Litzey both of Durango, Colo.; 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and two grandchildren.
