Purcell, about two years of age, died Tuesday shortly before noon as a result of a most deplorable mistake. The baby was accidentally given a dose of carbolic acid which had been left by one of the other children on a stand where its medicine was kept. Two doctors were called but their efforts were unavailing and the little one died within about two hours. The funeral was conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. Dulin from the M.E. church.
