Former Resident Passes Away

News has been received here of the death of Mrs. Mary A. Putnam, 89, which 
occurred in Wendell, Idaho on September 24.  Mrs. Putnam was a resident of 
Payette county for thirty four years, coming here in 1892.  Since 1926 she has 
made her home at St. Valentines hospital in Wendell.  Deceased is survived by 
three sons, Ed A. Putnam of Payette; Ray D. Putnam, of McCall and Guy Putnam, 
of Hermiston, Oregon; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Mrs. 
Putnam’s granddaughter, Mrs. Lucille Frost and her little daughter, Nona Mae, 
of Fresno, California, were with her at the time of her death.
High mass funeral services were held at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 27 in the chapel at St. 
Valentine’s hospital and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery at Wendell.
