Mr. and Mrs. Rawson with their two children, came recently to New Plymouth from Ogden, Utah and were staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. Massengale, parents of Mrs. Rawson. During the afternoon the child went to pick some peas, and soon after was missing. Thinking perhaps the child had wandered away or picked up by someone, a search was made through the neighborhood, and later the water turned out of the ditch that passed near by, when the body was found some distance away, where it had washed through the siphon under the highway. The body was brought to the Landon funeral home and Tuesday at 10 a.m. the funeral was held from the Baptist church at New Plymouth conducted by Rev. Jacobs, pastor, and the body laid to rest in the New Plymouth cemetery.
