FORMER LOCAL MINISTER DIES

Local friends have received news of the death of Rev. M. D. Reed which occurred 
at Syracuse, N. Y. last Sunday.  Rev. Reed was well known in Payette having had 
charge of the local Presbyterian church at the time of his residence here.  He 
is survived by a daughter, Alice, missionary teacher, who only a few months ago 
returned to her home in New York from China.
