Mr. Reins had been in failing health for the last year. He had lived in Fruitland since 1912 and was prominent in agricultural and civic affairs throughout the valley. Henry Reims was born in Germany on December 15, 1874. He came to America in February 1884 and located near Leigh, Nebraska. He was confirmed in the Lutheran church at the age of 15. On December 28, 1899 he was united in marriage to Anna Sophia Dasenbrock. To this union were born four children. One son died in infancy. In 1912 he moved to Idaho with his family and settled near Fruitland where he had resided since. Survivors are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Alma Champion of Fruitland, two sons, Otto and Theodore, three grandchildren all of Fruitland, and a twin brother, Fred B. Reins of Leigh, Nebraska. Funeral services will be conducted at the Fruitland Methodist church Saturday at 2:30 p. m. And will be under the direction of the Rev. Fred J. McConnelee of Ontario. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial park in Payette.
