The funeral was conducted from the Brethren church by Rev. E. J. Glover. Independent Enterprise Payette, Idaho September 19, 1940 Washoe Farmer Buried At Riverside Monday Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Peterson-Foster funeral home for Julian Louis Rice, Washoe farmer who died Saturday night at the home of Mrs. B. J. Pennington and daughter, Mrs. Al Lundt. Burial was at Riverside cemetery with the Rev. E. J. Glover of the Brethren church officiating. Mr. Rice was born in Kansas on February 4, 1865. A bachelor, he is survived by two nephews, Roy Grande of LaGrande and J. R. Hallworth of Payette, and two nieces, Mrs. Carson McDonald of Canada and Mrs. Frank Hawley of Willamette, Oregon.
