S. Richards W. W. Paine of Washoe, received a telegram Tuesday morning from Santa Ana, Cal., announcing the death at that place of Mrs. Paine's brother, Pulaski S. Richards, formerly a prominent citizen of the Lower Payette Valley. The body was shipped on Wednesday for Payette, to be interred in Riverside cemetery. It was accompanied by R. Hand, a cousin of the deceased, and is expected to arrive the last of the week. The deceased was 72 years of age. He came to the Payette Valley about 18 years ago and for a period of about 15 years was one of its successfull ranchers and stockmen, having been the owner of a fine place on Washoe Bottom. He was always known and respected as a man of sterling worth and his many friends in the community will regret very much to hear of his death.
