Ripley Dies Saturday Night Mrs. Anna S. Ripley of Seattle, Wash. died in Payette Saturday night following a long illness. Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at St. James' Episcopal church with the Rev. Fred. L. Pickett in charge. The Payette Eastern Star Chapter conducted its ritualistic ceremony at the grave. Interment was at Rosedale Memorial Park under the direction of the Shaffer Memory Chapel. Mrs. Ripley was born in Sweden and came to this country when she was still a young girl. She resided for a number of years in Illinois and Indiana cities and then with her husband and family moved to Seattle, Wash. in 1908. Her husband K. G. Ripley passed on in 1920. She was a member of the English Lutheran church and Order of Eastern Star, Queen Anne Chapter, Seattle. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Earle Sample of Payette; a son, Donald R. Ripley of Seattle; one grandson, Dr. Donald W. Sample of San Francisco, Calif.; two sisters, Misses Matilda and Hannah Gustafson of Winchester, Mass. and two great grandchildren.
