Charles S. Roberson
 
PAYETTE - Graveside services for Charles S. Roberson, 96, who died Wednesday, 
Aug. 24, 1983, in a Payette nursing home will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at 
Riverside Cemetery, Payette, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory 
Chapel, Payette.
 
He was born August 27, 1886 in Dewey, Okla. and was reared and educated in 
Oklahoma.  He married Eleanor Walker and they moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 
1932.  She died in 1945.  He had worked for Union Pacific Railroad and he 
moved to Payette in March 1982.
 
He is survived by one daughter, Betty Murphy of Grants Pass, and two 
grandsons.  He was preceded in death by one son and one grandson.
