Joseph Rohrbacher
Dies At Age Of 76

Joseph Christopher Rohrbacher, age 76, passed away at his home near Payette on 
Friday. He was born December 18, 1876 at Iowa City, Iowa, and came to the 
Payette community about five months ago from Nampa. He was engaged in farming.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Amy Rohrbacher, of Payette; one son, Samuel 
Rohrbacher, of Parma; three daughters, Mrs. Luella Bennett of Payette, Mrs. 
Erva Gregory, Eugene, Oregon, and Mrs. Irene Roberts of Boise; one sister, 
Mrs. Mamie Earley of Corning, Cal.; one brother, Arthur, of Bellingham, Wash.; 
nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Church of 
the Open Door in Nampa with Rev. David O. Casper officiating, under the 
direction of the Shaffer Memory chapel of Payette. Interment was in Cloverdale 
Memorial Park.
