From Sunday’s Statesman:  Word was received in this city yesterday that Anna, 
the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Rossi, of Payette, had died of 
diphtheria.  The deceased was well known in this city and news of her death 
will be received with profound sorrow here.  The bereaved family have the 
heartfelt sympathy of their many Boise friends.  Mrs. J. A. Pinney left 
yesterday for Payette to attend the funeral.
