Rotering, 62, a long time resident of Payette and more recently a resident of New Plymouth, died Friday at his home. He had lived in New Plymouth since 1949 and was a resident of Payette from 1905 until that time. He was born May 11, 1891 in Stephen, Minn. Mr. Rotering had been a member of the Kiwanis club and the Catholic church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jean Rotering of New Plymouth; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Taylor of Ontario, Mrs. Rodney Johnston of Boise and Mrs. George Lyon of Stockton, Calif.; a brother, Victor Rotering of Minneapolis, one sister, Anna Rotering of Minneapolis, and five grandchildren. Recitation of the Rosary was Sunday evening at the Shaffer Memory chapel in Payette. Funeral mass was held Monday morning at the St. Aloysius Catholic church in New Plymouth with the Rev. Father M. J. McGowan as celebrant. Interment was at the Park View cemetery in New Plymouth.
