While the rest of the folks were gone to the circus at Weiser Tuesday, Mrs. R. 
S. Rutherford, who was taking care of the baby of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin 
Rutherford, started out for a ride in a cart. The horse became frightened, 
threw them out and the baby received injuries from which it died at midnight, 
before its father and mother had returned home. The Rutherford baby was a 
grandchild of Mrs. John Henshaw of Washoe bottom.
