BODY IDENTIFIED
 
The body of an unknown man, found last week by Mr. Coughanour in one of his 
vacant houses near the cannery, has been identified as Charles Edson Scott of 
Portland.  A letter from his sister Mrs. H. C. Starks of Portland, received by 
Sheriff Stewart, giving a complete description including unusual scars on the 
body is conclusive evidence.  The body is still being held at the Peterson 
Funeral home awaiting further instructions.
 
Note:  Charles Edson Scott is buried at Riverside Cemetery, Payette in an 
unmarked grave.  ch
