Mr. Seda was not an expert swimmer and in attempting to swim the Boise river near Caldwell, was overcome, and went down. Every effort was made to save the man, but not until it was too late. His body was rescued by Jay Keefer of Willow creek who is with the Second Idaho, after it had been in the water for some time. A strenuous effort was made to resuscitate the body but to no avail. Mr. Seda will be remembered as manager of the Garage just north of Giesler Bros. Store. He was employed at the Heith Auto Co. of Caldwell. He leaves a wife and one child. Mr. Seda was a member of the Modern Woodman, carrying insurance in that organization.
