Edward Shannon Rites Conducted
 
Edward S. Shannon, 79, of New Plymouth, died Friday evening at the Ontario 
hospital.
 
Mr. Shannon was born April 10, 1877, in Beaver, Utah and was married to Fannie 
Tolle in Caldwell on April 2, 1908.  They resided in the Council area until 
1951 when they moved to New Plymouth.  He has been a resident of Idaho for the 
past 75 years.
 
He was a member of the KP lodge in Weiser for 50 years.
 
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one son, Glen Shannon, New 
Plymouth; one sister, Mrs. Grover Garr, Weiser; and several nieces and nephews.
 
Services for Mr. Shannon were held Tuesday afternoon at the Northam-Jones 
chapel in Weiser with the Rev. Eunice Trumbo officiating.  The Weiser Knights 
of Pythias lodge was in charge of services at Hillcrest.
