HUGH SHEARER PASSES AWAY

At a late hour, just before going to press we learn of the death of Hugh 
Shearer which occurred at the home of his mother four miles north of Payette, 
some time Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Shearer had been in ill health for many years 
afflicted with chronic and a severe case of rheumatism which was the direct 
cause of his death. We are unable at this time to publish an appropriate 
obituary as we are not in possession of the facts but will endeavor to do so 
next week.
