Shinryo Sawada. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Ontario, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette. She was born March 22, 1890, at Okayama, Japan, where she was reared and educated. She married Asamatsu Shigeta in 1905, at Okayama. They moved to the United States. She had lived in Payette County for 54 years. She was a member of the Idaho-Oregon Buddist Temple. Survivors include two sons, Gorge of New Plymouth and Nampa, and Shozo of Fruitland; five daughters, Michi Shigeta of Spokane, Mari Sakahara of Ontario, Kiyoko Fukui of Tremonton, Utah, Bessie and Yomi, both of Japan, 26 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a daughter.
