ARTHUR N. SHOOP BURIED WEDNESDAY
 
Arthur N. Shoop was born in Selinsgrove, Pa., on June 17, 1874 and passed away 
at his home southeast of Payette February 24, 1936 at the age of sixty-one 
years eight months and seven days.  He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, 
Laura G. Shoop, one son Milan, also a brother Charles, of Wallace, Kans., two 
sister, Mrs. W. E. Fullerton of Ason, Ill., and Mrs. K. A. Cartwright of 
Payette.
 
He came to Payette August 11, 1934 from Prairie City, Ill., and has since 
lived in and near Payette.  Funeral services in charge of Rev. Dallas McNeil 
were held from the Landon Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, February 26, 1936, 
at 2:30 with interment in the Riverside cemetery.
