Sick Graveside rites for Mrs. Anna Brand Sick, 86, Payette, were held Monday at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Charles A. Gill of the United Church of Christ officiating. Mrs. Sick died Friday at the Payette Valley Sanitarium. She was a pioneer resident of this community. The services were under the direction of Shaffer- Jensen Memory chapel. She was born August 1, 1881, at Braunschweig, Germany, and was married to Henry George Sick there January 21, 1904. The couple came to Payette that year where they farmed southeast of the city until 1920 when they moved into Payette. Her husband preceded her in death. Mrs. Sick was a member of the Lutheran church and the womens auxiliary of the Lutheran church, and was past president of the Portia club at Payette. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ed (Matilda) Lister, Lolo, Mont., Mrs. John (Gertrude) Carter, Ocean Shore, Wash., and Mrs. Arnie (Betty) Campbell Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
