PRESTON E. SILKETT DIES SUDDENLY
 
Preston E. Silkett, a resident of Fruitland for 25 years passed away suddenly 
at his home last Thursday afternoon following a heart attack.  He was 70 years 
old.
 
He is survived by his widow, Ida Silkett; four sons, C. C., Joe and Ed of 
Fruitland and Ernest of Ontario; three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Russell of 
French, Idaho; Mrs. Clara Allen of Fruitland and Mrs. Ida Baldwin of Wilder.
 
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Baptist church in 
Fruitland with burial in Parkview cemetery at New Plymouth.
