Mrs. Sara E. Skippen

Final rites for Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Skippen, 554 N. E. Hazelfern place, who 
died Sunday, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Moreland Funeral Home. The Rev. 
Joyce Kendall will officiate and burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Mrs. 
Skippen was born in Ontario, Canada, January 4, 1862, and had lived in Portland 
40 years. Besides her widower, Dr. Alfred Skippen, she leaves four daughters, 
Mrs. W. H. Day, Montour, Idaho, Mrs. A. W. Boynton, Boring (Oregon); Mrs. Harry 
Sweet, Emmett, Idaho; Mrs. C. L. McDaniels, Portland; eight grandchildren and 
six brothers.
