Charles Skipen, 88, Funeral Services To Be Held Thursday

The funeral services for Charles Skippen, 88, of Ontario, will be held in the 
chapel of Beechler’s in Ontario at 2 p.m. Thursday.  Interment will be at 
Riverside cemetery.  

Mr. Skippen passed away at his home Monday evening, January 19, and was a 
resident of this area for 49 years, coming from Ontario, Canada, where he was 
born September 28, 1864.  He was a member of the Christian church in Ontario.  
Mr. Skippen lived in the Willow Creek area from 1904 to 1918 before moving to 
Ontario.  

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Angelina Skippen, of Ontario, one daughter, Mrs. 
Evelyn Ayers of Council, two sons, George A. of Sweet, Idaho and Errett, of 
Portland, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
