FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JOSEPH SODJA

Funeral services for the late Joseph Sodja were held last Friday morning at the 
local Catholic church with Rev. Francis Michael presiding.  Following services, 
interment was made in the local cemetery.  

Joseph Sodja was born in Butte, Montana, in 1896.  He came with his parents to 
Payette in 1907, where he attended school.  In 1921 he married Mildred Blanche 
Alspach and later moved to Portland, Oregon where he has since resided.  He 
leaves his wife and three children, Josephine Blanche, Don Earlyn and Annabelle 
Lou.  Also five brothers, Peter of Butte, Montana, Rudolph, Frank, Edward and 
William of Payette and three sisters, Mary of Seattle, Rose of Long Beach, 
California and Jane of Portland, Oregon.

We wish to thank the many friends for their assistance and acts of kindness 
during our recent bereavement, also for the many lovely flowers.
