Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Shaffer-Jensen chapel, New Plymouth, with Rev. Earl Traughber of the New Plymouth Congregational church officiating. Burial followed in Parkview Cemetery, New Plymouth. He was born May 14, 1925, in Alpha, Mich., the son of Carl and Carrie Stromberg. He was reared and educated in Michigan, and married Mary Louise Bowman on Oct. 8, 1953, in Iron River, Michigan. They moved to California in 1966, to New Plymouth in 1977, and to Boise in 1980. He had worked in construction for most of his life. He was a member of the American Legion and also the Grange. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Boise; four sons, Howard of Idaho Falls; Allen of Payette; Harold Jr. of Boise; and Mark of Payette; two daughters, Sharon Post, Boise; and Debbie Peterson, Payette; three brothers, Kenneth Stromberg, Payette; and Doug and Don Stromberg, both of Iron River, Mich.; a sister, Doris Koski, Iron River; 16 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
