Mrs. Sue Stroup
The community was saddened this (Thursday) morning when the news was received 
that Mrs. Sue Stroup, one of the oldest pioneers of this community had passed 
away at her home in Washoe, where she came as a bride of John Jacob Stroup, 62 
years ago.
Mrs. Stroup was 79 years old and leaves to mourn her passing the following 
children, four girls and two boys; Mrs. Jessie Moore of Ontario, Mrs. Frances 
Russell of Payette, Mrs. Alta Coughanour of N. Powder, Oregon and Guy and 
Streeter Stroup of Payette, all of whom were with her at the time of her death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o' clock at Landon's 
Undertaking parlors in Payette.
