The service was at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in New Plymouth with the Rev. Fr. Dionel Buote as celebrant. Recitation of the Rosary was Sunday evening at the New Plymouth Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in New Plymouth. He was born May 4, 1896, at Blair, Neb. He came to New Plymouth with his parents in 1910. He worked with his father for many years in the mercantile business in New Plymouth later owning and operating the New Plymouth Groceteria in which he was active until recent ill health. He had also been a partner in Bradsuls Department Store in New Plymouth since 1957. He was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in New Plymouth and former president of the Holy Name Society of the Church; a member of the Knights of Columbus; secretary and treasurer of the Park View Cemetery district from 1948 to 1971; a member of the board of directors and former secretary-treasurer of Top Canning, Inc., of New Plymouth; a member and former president of the New Plymouth Chamber of Commerce; and a former member of the New Plymouth Riding Club and the Payette County Rodeo Board. Survivors include a brother, Paul D. Sullivan of New Plymouth. The family suggests memorials to the Catholic Memorial Fund in care of Mrs. Loren Fritz, Route 1, New Plymouth.
