MAUD CECIL SWEET

After an illness of several weeks Maud Cecil Sweet passed away at her home in 
this city, Saturday, January 9th. Her passing takes from this community one of 
Payette's most conscientious and faithful Christian women. Her death was caused 
by a stroke of paralysis which came to her some time ago. 
Besides her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Sweet, she is survived by two sisters, 
Mrs. S. P. Spencer and Goldie Sweet, both of Payette. She was born at 
Algonquin, Illinois, August 23, 1882 and was 43 years, 4 months and 17 days of 
age.
The funeral services were held from the Baptist church, Monday, January 11th, 
at 2:30, Rev. W. F. Deane officiating. Interment took place in Riverside 
cemetery.
