Death of Dr. W. B. Thurston

Dr. W. B. Thurston died on the 22nd day of April in his 73rd year. Funeral 
services were conducted from the Methodist church, of which deceased had long 
been a consistent and active member, Wednesday forenoon. A short sermon was 
preached by the pastor, after which the burial services was conducted by the 
Masonic order of this city, assisted by a number of the brethren from Ontario, 
Oregon.

Dr. Thurston came with his family and located in Payette in May 1894. His wife 
proceeded him to the spirit land about one year. He was a member of both the 
Blue Lodge and Royal Arch Chapter of Masons at this place.
