Services Today For E. W. Tomlin, 86
 
Services were to be held this afternoon in Meridian for E. W. Tomlin, 86, a 
former Oregon Slope resident who died Sunday in a Portland hospital.
 
Mr. Tomlin lived on the slope from 1917 until 1923.  He had moved to 
Beaverton, Ore., five years ago.  He was a member of the Methodist church.
 
During his lifetime Mr. Tomlin had been a farmer and a businessman.
 
His survivors include five sons, one of who is Ben Tomlin of Payette; two 
daughters, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
