Mary Weir Ulrey Passes After Illness
 
Mrs. Mary Weir Ulrey of Fruitland died Thursday afternoon in a Boise hospital 
after a long illness.
 
Born April 17, 1887, at Preston, Kan., she moved to Idaho in 1905 and had 
lived in Payette county for many years.  She was a member of the Order of 
Eastern Star.
 
In 1919 Mrs. Ulrey graduated from St. Luke's school of nursing in Boise and 
she had practiced nursing for many years.
 
Survivors include her husband, Walter of Fruitland, and two brothers, Archie 
Weir of Ontario and Thomas Weir of Canada.
 
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Fruitland Methodist church 
with the Rev. Arthur Baldwin and the Rev. Enoch Nye officiating.  Interment 
was at Parkview cemetery in New Plymouth under the direction of the Shaffer 
Memory chapel of Payette.
