Services Today For Van Auken
 
Services for Edna Van Auken, who died May 19 at Ogallala, Nebr., as the result 
of a car accident, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Shaffer chapel with the Rev. 
Burle De Bord of Payette officiating.  Interment was at Riverside.
 
Mrs. Van Auken was born Sept. 30, 1894, at Decatur City, Iowa, and Married on 
July 16, 1919, in Wheatland, Wyo.  She and her husband came to the Payette 
community in 1935 from Wheatland, Wyo.
 
Surviving are her husband, Alfred Richard of Payette; four daughters, Mrs. 
Ruth James of Huntington, Mrs. Erma Fletcher and Mrs. Margaret Dallman, both 
of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Blanche Fisher of Boring, Ore.; three sons, Eugene 
of Boise, John of Weiser, Robert of Huntington; 24 grandchildren; her mother, 
Mrs. Patience Bruner of Wheatland, Wyo., and one sister, Mrs. Mae Klaseen of 
Wheatland, Wyo.
