Last Rites Set For Thomas Van Dyke, 46
 
Services will be conducted Friday at Weiser for Thomas George Van Dyke, 46, 
Payette, who died at a Boise hospital Tuesday evening after a long illness.
 
He was born Sept. 21, 1914 at Chinook, Mont., the son of Greg and Mai Brockman 
Van Dyke.  He was reared in Weiser, was graduated from Weiser high school and 
later attended the University of Idaho.  After serving in the United States 
Army for 12 years, he was discharged 11 years ago due to illness.  He was 
married to Katie Schoelenberg, in Heidelberg, Germany, Jan. 2, 1951.
 
He is survived by his wife, Katie, Payette; his mother, Mrs. Mae Van Dyke, and 
a sister, Mrs. Fred Roberts, both of Weiser.
 
Services will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Northam-Jones chapel in 
Weiser, with the Rev. Joseph Wa??on officiating.  Interment will be at 
Hillcrest and members of Russell Smith Post No. 42, American Legion, will act 
as pallbearers.
