Funereal services were held at the Baptist church in New Plymouth Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Paul Felthouse of the Payette Baptist church in charge. Landons directed the interment at Parkview cemetery. Mr. Ward was born Oct. 29, 1865 at Grand Rapids, Ohio. He was married to Miss Susie Belle Luellen at Appleton City, Mo. June 20, 1906. She preceded him in death on July 2, 1935. A son, Martin J. Ward was killed in the Pacific war theatre in August 1944. He is survived by three sons and three daughters, Frank L. Ward, stationed at Phoenix, Ariz., Raymond Edward with the navy and stationed at Washington, D. C., LeRoy with the army in the South Pacific, Mrs. Wendalyn Baer, Boise, Mrs. Virgil George and Mrs. John Siple, Portland.
