The little girls were playing out in the yard and had stolen some matches out of the house and started a fire in some leaves. The little girl got too close to the fire and her clothes got afire buring her very severely. She was burned to almost a crisp and despite the best efforts of the doctor, the little girl passed away. The parents are heartbroken and have the sympathy of friends and neighbors. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Church of God. The body was interred in the Riverside Cemetery. ---------------- A fatal accident occured Nov. 7, at the home of Herbert Wayne. Wealthy the four year old daughter, was playing with jmatches and set fire to her clothing, the child lived but a few hours. Funeral services were held from the Church of God in Payette. Many flowers were sent as a token of sympathy for the bereaved parents. the flowers sent by the L. S. U. expressed the heartfult sorrow of their immediate neighbors, for the parents in their great bereavement.
