Mrs. P. C. White Passes Tuesday
 
Mrs. Phoebe C. White, 90, a resident of this community since 1909 passed on at 
the local hospital Tuesday after only two days confinement there.
 
Funeral services were held at Landon's chapel Wednesday afternoon with the 
Rev. C. G. Hannan of the Methodist church in charge.  Interment was in 
Riverside cemetery under the direction of Landon's.
 
Mrs. White was born Nov. 25, 1856 in Washington county, Iowa.  She grew to 
womanhood in that section and was married to Ira White in 1875.  He preceded 
her in death in 1931.
 
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pearl W. Baker, Payette; and Mrs. Gail 
W. Kinnison of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and 
a brother, Harry Huffman of Donna, Texas.
