Funeral Services of W. G. Whitney 

Complaint has been made that the Independent failed to give the details of the 
funeral of W. G. Whitney in last week’s issue. The funeral services were held 
at the home of Captain and Mrs. Irvin on Wednesday, Rev. Edward Wright of the 
Christain church conducted the services. There were many of the friends of the 
family present besides the members of the Masonic lodge, who went to the Irvin 
home in a body.
