FUNERAL SERVICES
 
Final rites were held Tuesday in the Shaffer Memory chapel for Bernie Bentain 
Wiles, Payette, 50 who passed away Friday, Feb. 20 in a local hospital.  He 
had been in failing health for some time.
 
Rev. Father Nicholas Walsh officiated at the service and interment was in 
Riverside cemetery.  

Mr. Wiles was born in Wilmette, Ky., June 8, 1902 and came to Payette 12 years 
ago from Hawthorne, Nev.  He was engaged in farm work.
 
Survivors are sons Don E., Fruitland and Raymond L., Payette; sisters, Mrs. 
Bertha McCabe, Fruitland, and Mrs. Dan Phillips, Island City, Ore.  He leaves 
three brothers, Lewis S., Payette; Robert, Eugene, Ore., and Walter W., Yakima.
