Mrs. Wilson was born in Payette in 1869 and had lived in the community all her life. Her brother, John Applegate, also a noted pioneer, preceded her in passing several weeks ago. She has seen the growth of Payette since its beginning and had helped several organizations to grow. She was a charter member of the Payette PEO. Surviving are one son, Allen Wilson of Los Angeles; two half-sisters, Mrs. Fay Wells of Payette and Ruth Vance of Portland; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at the Shaffer Memory chapel in Payette with the Rev. Stanley Andrews officiating. Interment followed in Riverside cemetery.
