Last Rites Held For James A. Wilson
 
Funeral rites were conducted today at 10:00 a. m. for James A. Wilson, 
Payette, who passed away Sunday, July 5, at a Nampa hospital, the Rev. E. J. 
Glover of Weiser officiated.
 
James Andrew Wilson was born October 3, 1869 in Ohio, moving first to Wichita, 
Kansas and then coming to Payette, in 1925 where he has resided since.  His 
wife Mable Wilson preceded him in death in 1941.
 
He is survived by nine sons; Lloyd and Floyd, Portland, Ore., Andrew, 
(unreadable) Kans., Ray and Eldon, Payette. Willard of Cottage Grove, Ore., 
James, Owyhee, Harold, Ontario, Eugene, Oswego, Oregon; three daughters, Mrs. 
Hazel Brookings, Wichita, Mrs. Emma Meacham, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Viola 
Taylor, Boise; and one brother William of Bentley, Kans.  Twenty-seven 
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren also survive.
 
Interment was in the Riverside cemetery under the direction of the Shaffer 
memory chapel.
