Mrs. Jennie Wilson Buried Monday

Another Payette pioneer passed away recently with the death of Mrs. Jennie 
Wilson on November 6. Funeral services were conducted last Sunday with Rev. 
Kaemmer, of the local Methodist church in charge.
Jennie Wright was born in Kewanee, Illinois on December 27, 1869. In early 
childhood she moved with her parents to Nebraska, where they homesteaded in the 
then pioneer country near Curtis. On February 19, 1884 she was married to Bion 
D. Wilson, who passed away in 1928. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson were the parents of six 
children, George M. Wilson, of Nyssa; Edna B. Gish, of San Leandro, California; 
Ethel B. Clauson, of Pocatello; Bertha M Phipps, of Payette and two children 
now deceased.
In 1901 the family moved to Payette by wagon train and she remained in this 
city throughout the remainder of her life. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the 
Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors.
