Services Held For William Wood, 78
 
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Monday for William Wood, 78, of New 
Plymouth who died early Friday at his home there, after a long illness.
 
He was born July 7, 1881 in Columbus, Ohio and came to Idaho in 1939 and moved 
from Measa to New Plymouth in 1942.  He was a member of the First Baptist 
church.
 
Survivor include his wife Mrs. Ella M. Wood of New Plymouth; three sons James 
E. Wood, Grangeville; Earl B. Wood and William B. Wood; a daughter, Mrs. Ellen 
Hendrickson, all of New Plymouth; Wayne E. Wood of Lakeside, Oregon; Mrs. 
Genevieve Priest, of Ontario and Mrs. Arvilla Ogden of Kellogg and Mrs. Mona 
Samuelson of St. Maries.
 
Mr. Wood also leaves 18 grandchildren, three great-grandsons, two brothers and 
four sisters.
 
Services were held at the Shaffer Chapel in New Plymouth with Rev. Robert 
Cooper officiating.  Interment was at Park View in New Plymouth.
