The remains were taken to Weiser for burial. The funeral took place on Monday morning in that city, an account of which is given in the Weiser Signal as follows: The funeral services of Mrs. Bert Woodland, who died at Payette Sunday morning, were held Monday morning under the auspices of Kalos Circle, of the Women of Woodcraft. Services were held in Odd Fellows hall, conducted by Revs. Deiapine and Deal. A large concourse of friends and the ladies of the Circle followed the remains. At the cemetery the remains were taken in charge by the ladies, and interred according to the ceremonies of their order. Mrs. Woodland was born at Boone, Iowa, Jan. 7th, 1860. She came to Idaho in 1863, and has been a resident of the state ever since. At the age of 15 years she was married to Lafayette Lansdon, was the mother of thirteen children, twelve of whom survive her. She became a member of the Baptist church at an early age, and was a consistent member until her death. A little more than two years ago she was married to Bert Woodland. Mrs. Woodland has been a sufferer for several months with cancer, had had two operations performed, but without success. She leaves many to mourn her loss.
