Youmans Dies In Central Park As Result Of Heat Death due directly to heat, Edson H. Youmans, 55, for about four years a resident of Payette, died Saturday in Central Park. Youmans, who was known to suffer heart trouble, died following walking from the park, where his car had stalled, to his home at Andy's Tourist park and back, in the mid-afternoon sun. He succumbed while seated in the car, waiting for his brother, Arthur Youmans, to finish putting gasoline in the empty tank. Youmans is survived by his brother, Arthur, of Payette, a brother-in-law, Bert Hall, who recently came here from Wellington, Kansas, and a nephew, Russell Snyder, of Ontario, Oregon. Deceased and his brother, Arthur, had been residents of Payette for the past four years during which time they had been residing at Andy's Tourist park. Rev. Stanley Moore, of the Ontario Episcopal church, officiated at a funeral service held in that city last Monday morning. Interment was made in the Ontario cemetery.
