On the far right is the Moss Mercantile, built about 1900 by A. B. Moss. On the far left is one of two buildings erected by N. A. Jacobsen. The street was then called Boise Street. It evolved to 8th street and is now called Main street. Both buildings are still standing today and are located on the North end of Main street in downtown Payette.
