The date of this photo is not known, however, in 1908, President Roosevelt set 
aside a tract of land in Idaho as the Payette Forest Reserve.

This reserve (then called a national forest) was diminished and consolidated 
with portions of the Weiser and Sawtooth National Forests by an Executive Order 
of June 26, 1908.  Perhaps his visit to Payette was somewhere in that time 
frame.  

The photo was taken at the Payette Train Depot and the inscription reads:
"Looking for Teddy-Payette, Idaho"
