Helen Shearer (16 years)

A real girl.  2nd oldest of 12 kids.  I went with her when she ran off to marry 
Lee French. Bill Ackerman went too. (He's dead now)
Mrs. Shearer was going to have Bill and I arrested. Sure was some excitement.  
She finally cooled off and made them get married again with her consent.  
They live in Lodi Calif. and have one little girl "Yvonne Beverly"
About 4 ft 11 weighs 90 lbs.
Awfully cute.  So is Lee.  

*Note-according to the Western States Marriage Index, Lee E. French and Helen 
A. Shearer first married April 16, 1924 in Weiser, Washington county, Idaho.  
The second marriage took place April 18, 1924 in Emmett, Gem county, Idaho.  

Additional Comments:
This photo and information given are from a personal scrap book of a Payette 
woman whose name is unknown at this time.
